Fantastic city center stay!

central locationwarm welcomequeen bed
The location was AMAZING. I found myself right in the heart of everything. The receptionist, Jo, gave a warm welcome. My room was clean and well-equipped with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate facilities, and a huge queen bed.
The drinks at the bar were a bit pricey.

water damagepoor breakfast
I found some aspects of my stay disappointing. the bathroom door showed signs of previous water damage. The floor outside was also uneven. music from elsewhere in the building was audible at most times in room 108. the continental breakfast selection was poor. Coffee came from a machine now. the mackerel dish was also not worth the money. it was eggs on avocado toast with a tiny piece of fish.

Excellent City Center Hotel

superb locationprofessional stafflong wait
The hotel is in a superb location. It is only a few steps from the Cathedral and shopping centers. The staff was polite and professional (I was really impressed). The room's appliances worked perfectly. The room also featured a big shower, a really nice bathroom and a comfy bed. I would happily stay here again.
I experienced a little wait for the coffee during breakfast. Everything else such as pastries and cereals seemed empty. I think they need to review and adjust their breakfast offer.
Dining
8/10
The breakfast service was a bit slow at times (though the food itself was good). The continental choice offered pastries, breads, and cereals, a solid and sufficient selection for starting the day.
Facilities
9/10
The spa provided a discount for hotel guests. I had a good massage. A cocktail terrace provides a great place to enjoy the evening. The hotel includes a comfortable bar and lounge area.
Rooms
9/10
The rooms were spacious and well-decorated with good amenities. The bathroom layout was nice and very clean. My room had a big TV. The beds and pillows were super comfy.
Location
10/10
The hotel is centrally located, close to the cathedral and shops. The location is also a short walk from the central railway station. This positioning makes it an excellent base to see the city.
